LUX was born out of a desire to elevate the everyday. We are Amani and Ellie, a husband-and-wife team with a passion for thoughtful living. With Ellie’s deep roots in Utah and Amani’s heritage in Uganda, our brand is a celebration of two worlds coming together. We believe that food and warmth have a unique ability to bridge cultures and build connection.

For Ellie, growing up in Utah instilled a deep appreciation for the sanctuary of home. Whether it was the quiet peace of the mountains or the tradition of gathering with loved ones, she learned early on that the environment we create impacts how we feel. This inspires our commitment to Refined Comfort. We want to offer goods that help you curate a space that feels safe, welcoming, and distinctly yours.

Amani brings a vibrant global perspective that is woven into the very fabric of our products. You will see this influence in the Swahili names of our signature candle scents. Each name is chosen with intention to honor his journey and bring a piece of that warmth into your home. It is our way of sharing a story that spans continents while delivering a high-quality, Artisan experience right here in Payson.

This mission has become even more personal since welcoming our first child earlier this year. As ambitious new parents, we are learning that life moves fast. We have found that true luxury is not about extravagance. It is about carving out a quiet moment amidst the chaos. Lighting a clean-burning candle or sharing a bag of gourmet almonds has become our ritual for grounding ourselves. We created LUX to share that same sense of calm and indulgence with you.
